Faithful, Shepherd Series # 9

Hand-built in porcelain, this sculptural vessel rises from torn, stretched, and irregular forms, its surface shaped by the language of fracture and repair. Edges gilded in 23.75k gold leaf catch the light, while hand-hammered brass wire traces points of mending??marks of effort, care, and renewal. Wood-fired soda and ash lend quiet depth to the surface, enriching a piece that reflects on resilience, connection, and the beauty that can emerge from what is broken and remade.
